Voor ons jonge en enthousiaste team in Amsterdam zijn we op zoek naar een

Voorlezer (met Duits als moedertaal) - 1-2 dagen per jaar

Wat maakt deze baan zo leuk? Je wordt een van de gezichten van De Voorleeshoek, leest de mooiste kinderboeken voor en krijgt de kans om deze verhalen te vertellen aan de kinderen die kijken.

Een voorbeeld van hoe onze video's eruitzien: I'm bigger than you - The Reading Corner

De Voorleeshoek is een internationaal online videoplatform voor kinderen van 2 tot 10 jaar. Onze missie is om lezen toegankelijk en aantrekkelijk te maken voor alle ouders en kinderen. Door het produceren van onder andere Engelse, Spaanse, Duitse, Franse en Nederlandse voorleesfilmpjes geeft De Voorleeshoek kinderen een voorsprong in het leven. In alle voorleesfilmpjes combineren we het verhaal, de illustraties en klassieke muziek. We publiceren alle video's op ons platform (via onze website, app en tv-app), maar ze zijn ook toegankelijk via vele (internationale) platforms, zoals Amazon, Comcast, Videoland, KLM (in het vliegtuig), Gynzy en meerdere bibliotheken in de Verenigde Staten via Hoopla.

Wat doe je als voorlezer?

  • Je leest prachtige kinderboeken in de studio van De Voorleeshoek in Amsterdam.
  • Soms lees je op unieke leeslocaties (musea) voor de specials van De Voorleeshoek.

Functie-eisen:

  • Affiniteit met kinderboeken;
  • Moedertaalspreker (Duits);
  • Zangervaring is een pre;
  • Enthousiaste lezer in de Duitse taal.

Wat bieden wij?

  • Freelancefunctie voor ongeveer 1-2 keer per jaar, waarbij je voor (en achter) de camera leest in De Voorleeshoek;

Reader (native speaker German) - 1-2 days a year

What makes this job so fun? You’ll be one of the faces of The Reading Corner, will be reading the best children’s books and will have the opportunity to tell beautiful stories to kids watching.

The Reading Corner is an international online video platform for children from 2-10 years old. Our mission is to make reading accessible and attractive to all parents and children. By producing English, Spanish, German, French and Dutch story time videos, The Reading Corner will give kids a headstart in life. All story time videos combine the story, illustrations and classical music. We publish all videos on our platform (via our website, app and TV app), but are also accessible through many (international) platforms such as Amazon, Comcast, Videoland, KLM (in the airplane), Gynzy and multiple libraries in the USA via Hoopla. 

What do you do as a reader?

  • You’ll read children's books in the studio of The Reading Corner in Amsterdam.
  • Sometimes you’ll read at unique reading locations (museums) for The Reading Corner’s specials.

Job requirements:

  • Affinity with children's books;
  • Native speaker (German);
  • Enthusiastic reader in the German language;
  • You are located in The Netherlands.

We offer:

  • Freelance function for approximately 1-2 times a year where you’ll read on (and off) camera at The Reading Corner;
  • International working environment;
  • A competitive salary.
